How to get here
We recommend flying into Chengdu Shuangliu Internation Airport if you are planning to arrive right before your trek. We also recommend staying somewhere near XinNanMen Bus station, near the city center in Chengdu for at least the night after you arrive. This way, you will be near the city metro service as well as close to where buses to Kangding will leave from.
Weather & Altitude
Here’s some general info on weather and Altitude in the area as you prepare for your trek. You can never be sure what mountain weather will be like, or how different people respond to altitude, but at least this will give you an idea to start thinking about.
