Role Play:  Role Play in front of the class using the guidelines above and information in the past on how to make a reservation. Have each student take a different role (one is the tour guide and the other is the tourist).  Practice having a telephone conversation.

Make sure you get all the needed information.  Each pair of students must use different phrases, we have discussed, when answering the phone, gathering information, and closing the conversation.  Be inventive and think about different ways to have a telephone conversation.  Imagine that the vacation is yours and think about the questions you would have in planning and the way you would like to be treated.
