Dege Drongsar Tibetan Medicine Exhibition

Another place worthy of note to check out during your stay is the Dege Drongsar Tibetan Medicine Exhibition.  They sell medicine made by Tibetan medicine specialists who have studied natural ways to treat all sorts of illnesses and ailments.  Those who work there have been very helpful in giving detailed information about the Dege Drongsar Hospital and the services they offer, although it is all explained in Chinese.  If you don’t understand Chinese, on the wall there are still pictures with captions in English, Chinese, and Tibetan that briefly describe all that the hospital does.
