Daily Itinerary
Day One
Begin your trek by traveling by car from Kangding (or Luding) to Caoke
Overnight: Sleep in a hostel in Caoke
Day Two
A car will take you from Caoke to Jiebeishi, where you will start your trek to Xia Tsimei.
Overnight: Homestay in Xia Tsimei
Day Three
Trek to Gongga Monastery
Overnight: Stay in the Gongga Monastery
Day Four
Hike around the Gongga Monastery area
Overnight: Gongga Monastery
Day Five
Trek to Yulongxi Yako
Overnight: Sleep in Yulongxi
Day Five
Trek from Yulongxi to Dara Cao Yuan
Overnight: Tent camping at Dara Can Yuan
Day Seven
Trek over Panpan Shan to Ambalay Camp
Overnight: Ambalay Camp
Day Eight
Travel from Ambalay to Kangding, where the trek ends.
From here you can choose to stay the night in Kangding, or travel to other Tibetan towns.
